The love of Radha and Krishna is symbolic of the eternal love affair between the devoted mortal and Divine Radha. Radha’s yearning for union with her beloved Krishna is the soul’s longing for spiritual awakening. The Mini Dibbi invitation is derived from the small paan dibbas used in olden times. The invitation is handcrafted in custom printed silk and also has a little mirror inside it. We wanted the invitation box to be of utility so the size was kept very precise and one could use this into a cutesy trinket box, pooja box or a miniature vanity box. Other elements included coordinated shawls with the same print as a wedding return gift, Ginni boxes for sagan and matching poltis as mehendi favors.
A Fusion of nautical theme which surely captured the whimsical and romantic essence of one’s wedding which was further paired with the concept of Cruise wedding. It laid a path for an unparalleled experience for the wedding guests. Inspired by the couple’s love for Bollywood movies, the idea of a Cruise wedding was intermixed with the grandeur of a desi flick, Dil Dhadakne Do. Fabricating the main theme for the wedding invite, the tone was set to sea-inspired hues along with a tinge of gold.
It was a four day wedding that took place across three different locations, Spain followed by France and finally deboarding in Italy. A beautiful memorabilia of the actual cruise ship along with boarding passes was sent out to the guests. There was a different boarding pass designed for each mentioning the sub theme and specific dress code. Inspired by the poster of the movie Dil Dhakadne Do, the invite incorporated images of the couple along with the groom’s parents relaxing on a pool side chair. From beautiful typography to ancient gold anchors to a small flag on the cruise, every bit of the invite was designed in sync with this nautical soiree. The Cruise stationery and collaterals were also intertwined with the wedding theme. Coasters, water bottle, wedding itinerary, DND doorknob, paper napkins and keycards added to the magnificent sojourn in the midst of the ocean.
Making her name in the male-dominated world of laughter and comedy, Bharti Singh rose to fame with her dedication and on-point sense of humour. Interweaving a nautical theme, the invitation card beautifully incorporates the couple’s fun personality in every insert. The vivid hues of the invite along with watercolor rendering are the highlights of this invite. Playful 3D pop ups, hysterical reverse roleplay of a bride and a groom bounded together with a picturesque and nautical feel justifies an innovative approach towards wedding invitations. From incorporating a hangover kit in the invite to adding a source of unlimited entertainment-liquor in the wedding invitation box, the whole process was personalised, keeping in mind the client’s preferences.
Inspired by realms of the poetry, Shoaib and Dipika’s invite is a reflection of their love and strong desire for each other. The story of the invite revolves around Dipika’s art of writing poetry for Shoaib, who in turn equally cherishes this art and keeps it alive. The card breaks the monotony of a typical invitation card and ventures into the novel concept of a personal diary. The emerald green invite is portrayed as Dipika’s diary which has her most beautiful creation written on it- ‘Zindagi ki Kitaab ko Khoobsurat bana rahe hai’. Wrapped in gold tissue paper with their initials stamped on it, the card takes one to a land of nostalgia and portrays an old world charm to the viewer. On opening, the viewer can see their wedding hashtag #dodilmilrahehai on the left side flap of the invite. On the right side, amidst a gold laser-cut frame lies an invitation to the dreamy wedding reception
